Here is how to request an early partial withdrawal of your SaveSmart principal:
- Log in and open your SaveSmart investment under My investments.
- On the investment row, open the […] menu and select Early principal withdrawal.
- Enter the amount you want to withdraw. Before you confirm you will see the maximum available, the 1% fee, the future interest you will no longer earn on the amount you withdraw (after withholding tax), and the net amount that reaches your wallet.
- Review and accept the Annex to your Loan Agreement, which records the reduced principal and the recalculated repayment schedule.
- Confirm the request. It is then reviewed and approved manually. Once approved, the net amount is credited to your Afranga wallet, from where you can withdraw it to your bank.
Good to know
- You can request up to 30% of the total you have invested in SaveSmart over the last 12 months. If 30% comes to less than €100, you can still request up to €100, as long as you have at least €100 invested.
- A ceiling of €5,000 per investor applies across any rolling 365-day period.
- Minimum withdrawal: €10.
- Anything you have already withdrawn in the last 12 months counts against both the 30% and the €5,000 ceiling.
- A fee of 1% of the amount you request applies to every withdrawal and is deducted from the payout. You keep all the interest you have earned up to the withdrawal date, with nothing taken back. From then on, the amount you withdraw simply stops earning interest.
- Requests are approved manually and paid subject to available funds, so processing is not instant.
Early withdrawal is a flexibility option subject to available funds, not a guaranteed right to exit early. As with all investments, your capital is at risk and SaveSmart is not a bank deposit. Questions? support@afranga.com.
