Feature in Development
The secondary market functionality is currently under development and not yet available to investors. Afranga will notify all users when it becomes accessible.
Definition
The secondary market is a feature that enables investors to sell their active loan investments before the loan reaches maturity. This allows for improved flexibility and earlier access to funds, as other investors on the platform can purchase those investments.
Purpose
By offering a secondary market, Afranga aims to increase investment liquidity, helping investors manage their portfolios and exit positions before the scheduled repayment date.
Note:
While this feature is not yet live, we are working to ensure it meets all necessary regulatory and operational standards. Until its release, investments on Afranga should be considered illiquid and held to maturity as per the loan repayment schedule.
